Bollywood can't get over Sridevi, post heart-wrenching messages

She was and is an actor that is irreplaceable.

Legendary actress Sridevi left the mortal world for her heavenly abode on the unfateful day of 24th February and honestly, nothing has been the same.

She recalled how the promotions for her first movie in Bollywood "felt like a nightmare" and how she was "very, very uncomfortable" with the scrutiny of Bollywood's paparazzi.

In 1997, she married Kapoor, a producer on many of her films, and stepped away from cinema for many years while she raised her two daughters. "The few words that she spoke in broken Hindi and broken English, they touched me and moved me, and I got more curious to know her", he revealed.

While the entire Kapoor family was in grief, the entire industry was seen in support after the untimely demise of the veteran actress in Dubai. In 2013 the Bollywood actress was awarded the Padma Shri, India's fourth-highest civilian honor. She spoke about how unfriendly and exploitative Bollywood is for hopefuls like her from small towns of India and how it has "scarred her psyche". Her daughters and husband can be seen by her side. However, they felt happy after knowing the real reason. Sridevi was getting ready to go out for dinner with her husband when she collapsed in the bathroom of Dubai's Jumeirah Emirates Towers hotel on Saturday evening.

Sridevi could also be extraordinarily warm and compassionate.

Sridevi's involvement in a film could make it a blockbuster. There was a considerable delay in bringing Sridevi back in the country as the legal proceedings and autopsy reports took time to come out. "We want to pay her one last visit today and thank her for all her wonderful performances", Nandini Rao, a 32-year-old teacher, told the media. And what a comeback it was - playing the role of a traditional Indian housewife's struggle with the English language in the United States, she was simply outstanding. "She was on my mind all the time", Boney said.

As Sridevi's favourite colour was "white", keeping her wish, the truck was fully decorated with white flowers.Boney Kapoor, Anil Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor were present in the truck.Meanwhile, thousands of her fans paid their last respects to the iconic actor. She was excited for Janhvi's upcoming debut "Dhadak", just months away from its release. Investigators said alcohol was found in her system but concluded her death was accidental and closed their case Tuesday and handed the body to her family. Many climbed on signals and lamp posts for a last glimpse of their beloved heroine. I was stunned by her screen presence.

"Nothing is going to be a cakewalk in any profession. I'm sure she is ready for it". Neither Bollywood nor the lives of million people she touched by just being her gracious self.
