If you have a long-standing crush on the soon-to-be-former White House commications director, you'll be happy to hear that the answer to is Hope Hicks married is no.

But Hicks also knew when to pick her battles, at times siding with Trump against other staff, arguing that he knew best.

Hicks, who has long tried to avoid media attention, was thrust into the spotlight recently when it was revealed she had been dating Porter. Although she was originally attached to Ivanka Trump's business, the President drafted her into his campaign and eventually into the White House communications team where she wielded great influence and won Trump's trust and confidence although she was only 28 and a neophyte in a high-wire job.

ICYMI: Ivanka Trump was interviewed by a magazine in 2016. She has been one of his most protective advisers and fierce family loyalists. It leaves Trump increasingly without support of the familiar aides who surrounded him during his campaign, and marks the latest in a string of high-level departures in the administration's second year.
