Your life in an app

Yesterday, Apple released the first developer betas for iOS 11.3, macOS 10.13.4 High Sierra, and tvOS 11.3.

Apple is embracing the trend to update its iOS regularly and has revealed some new features coming to iOS 11.3.

The update will provide new ways to experience augmented reality on the iPhone and iPad, offer new Animoji on the iPhone X, and give users a consolidated view of their health records in the Health app. They include new tools for chatting with businesses and for monitoring battery health and power management.

The option to switch off the feature will appear on the iPhone 6, 6 Plus, SE, 6S, 6S Plus, 7 and 7 Plus models.

Apple chose Geisinger as one of 12 health systems across the country for inclusion in the upgraded app. Others include: Johns Hopkins Medicine, Baltimore, Maryland; Cedars-Sinai, Los Angeles, California; and Penn Medicine, Philadelphia.

With Business Chat, iPhone and iPad users will have a direct pipeline to the customer support desks of some businesses. Medical records from various institutions, including allergies, medical conditions, immunisations and prescriptions will also be available.

The MSCI Asia Pacific Index sank 0.4 percent, the first retreat in a week and the largest decrease in nearly six weeks. NEW YORK (AP) - Starbucks is giving its US workers pay raises and stock grants this year, citing recent tax reform.

Apple hasn't confirmed an accurate release date for iOS 11.3.

Business Chat lets users communicate directly with businesses within the Messages app.

The beta testers will also receive four new Animoji available for iPhone X. The Health app will have a new feature where users can store their medical records. Once in Software Update, there should be a button right up front and center that will prompt the device to check for new software.

But if none of them tickle your fancy, Apple is introducing the lion, bear, dragon and skull Animoji with iOS 11.3.

The leading medical data players are on board with Health Records. This may be because iOS 11.2.5, which was sent out the same day that iOS 11.3 was announced, contained a number of major security features, including fixes for the processor vulnerabilities known as Meltdown and Spectre. So not only are you able to quickly reference, say, your latest lab results, but the Health app is able to contextualize that information to help you make sense of it. But sometimes, you get lucky several months in advance, and instead of waiting and hesitating, you need to pull the trigger before it's too late. However, Apple's update could make a contribution in addressing the interoperability issues.

The company added Advanced Mobile Location, which a feature that automatically sends a user's location to emergency services when someone calls. So all the ebook readers will be able to get a refreshed version of iBooks app with Books only.
