Heavy rain will continue on Friday night, with temperatures soaring well into the 50s and even near 60 - close to records in some cases. Freezing rain, coupled with standing water, will result in a flash freeze this afternoon and evening. Freezing rain will then transition to a period of sleet before a complete changeover to snow tonight. The changeover from a wintry mix to all snow should be around 4 p.m., according to weather.com. Scattered snow showers are possible during the day.
