Old iPhone apps to be killed off by Apple iOS 11

After weeks of speculation and reported leaks that were heavily scrutinized, Apple's new operating system update, iOS 11, is finally available for a download.

The new operating system is going to be restricted to running apps written in 64-bit code, meaning many older apps written in 32-bit code will stop working for users after they update their systems.
