Irma, which made landfall in the Florida Keys yesterday afternoon as a Category 4 hurricane, has now been downgraded to a tropical storm. Some 6.3 million people in Florida had been told to evacuate. Most of the outages were in Southeast Florida.

As daylight returns to Florida, the damage inflicted by Irma is becoming clear.

While the Sunshine State won't see too much actual sun Monday, state officials are looking on the bright side and say they're pleased with the response from both local and federal officials.

"The worrisome part will be later when the winds start pushing the water back", Fox News senior meteorologist Janice Dean was quoted as saying.
