Apple Inc.'s (AAPL) Stock Is Reaping Benefits of an iPad Sales Turnaround

The developer Steve Troughton Smith is the first to confirm the presence of "Pearl ID" in BiometricKit, an infra-red (IR) unlocking feature based on facial recognition, which has been rumoured to be featured in the next-gen iPhone.

The firmware of Apple's homepod (Apple's answer to Alexa) released to developers has a few surprises in it about iPhone, all revealed by developers themselves.

iPhone 8 leaks have become so popular that even Apple appears to be getting in on the action, seemingly confirming two rumored features. Some have seen the virtual home button being a part of a Touch Bar for iPhone, bringing over one of the defining features of the new MacBook Pro. We have already been seeing a lot of leaks rolling out of the rumor-mill.

When Apple put out the firmware for its upcoming HomePod smart speaker, people quickly began to poke around, looking for more information about what to expect from Apple's response to the Amazon Echo and Google Home. A photo of the likely device was found in the HomePod code under the area dealing with authentication for Apple Pay.

As per earlier reports, Apple is reported to introduce the iPhone 8 with an OLED display. Moreover, he also hints that the high-end model will incorporate a bezel-less screen with a camera notch at the top.

Venezuelans Pack Streets to Cast Vote in Constituent Assembly
Vice President Mike Pence promised on Friday that the US would take "strong and swift economic actions" if the vote went ahead. Al Jazeera's Lucia Newman, reporting from the capital, Caracas , said that it was "sad and bloody day in Venezuela ".

According to Troughton-Smith, the code includes a graphic of the alleged iPhone 8.

There are several lines of code with the phrase "BKFaceDetect".

Developers Steven Troughton-Smith and Guilherme Rambo spotted the iPhone references and shared images of them on Twitter.

It's always been claimed that Apple could remove Touch ID fingerprint authentication in its next flagship phone, replacing it with a form of infrared facial detection.

IPhone 8: launched in October 2017 at less than $ 1,000? This, again, suggests that Apple will use different means for locking and unlocking the device, such as the infrared facial recognition system mentioned above.
