After weeks of increasingly public humiliations and amidst near-chaos at the White House, Mr Priebus is being replaced by John Kelly, a former four-star Marine general lauded by Mr Trump for doing an "incredible" job as secretary of Homeland Security.

Since entering the White House six months ago, Trump has parted company with his national security advisor, deputy national security advisor, Federal Bureau of Investigation director, press secretary, communications director, acting attorney general, deputy chief of staff and now chief of staff, a turnover of top officials that is unparalleled in U.S. political history. This bluster is undoubtedly why Trump hired Kelly and brought him over to the White House.

The tension between Scaramucci and Priebus flared after Politico published a story on Wednesday about Scaramucci's publicly available financial disclosure form showing he still stands to profit from his stake in an investment firm he founded.

He also used a graphic sexual reference to make the point that he believes White House chief strategist Steve Bannon used Trump's election win to burnish his own reputation.

"I think they would be nuts if they don't accept help, " the secretary said. Trump said in a tweet.

The shakeup was announced shortly after Air Force One landed at Joint Base Andrews, returning from a speech in Long Island, NY.

When he asked his wife if he should do the job, she replied, "Well, you know, if we're nothing the Kelly family is a family of service to the nation".

"I can't think of a better person than General John Kelly to succeed me and I wish him God's blessings and great success". He is a Great American. and a Great Leader. "Reince Priebus is a good man". On Thursday, White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders declined to tell reporters whether the president still has confidence in his chief of staff. But it's unclear whether the two will see eye to eye on one of the major issues dogging Trump's White House.

NJ State Fair stands by safety measures
It estimates there were 30,900 injuries associated with amusement attractions previous year that required an emergency room visit. A company providing rides at the fair this year describes the Fire Ball as an "aggressive thrill" ride.

"It has been one of the greatest honors of my life to serve this President and our country". "This is, I think, good for the president".

"My hope is General Kelly can right the ship and work with our president in a constructive way, and we can have the important debates that this country deserves", U.S. Rep. Niki Tsongas (D-Mass.) said.

Priebus said the president wanted go "a different direction" and that it was "a healthy thing". Priebus is close with House Speaker Paul Ryan, a fellow Wisconsinite. "He has achieved so much, and he has done it all with class".

White House Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci says he doesn't stab people in the back: "I'm more of a front-stabbing person". And Pete Rouse temporarily served as an interim chief of staff after Rahm Emanuel left the Obama White House in 2010 to run for mayor of Chicago.

"I suggest you lead by first washing out Mr. Scaramucci's mouth with a bar of soap", he wrote. When I said we were brothers, from the podium, that's because we're rough on each other.

Kelly acknowledges that when he took over DHS, his department was created to be less responsive to Congress and the press, something he realized over time he should work to correct.

However, speaking to CNN New Day on Thursday morning, he seemed to have reviewed his equation with the chief of staff and described their relationship akin to "Cain and Abel".
