Big brawl leads to lockdown of San Francisco mall
To help control the situation the mall was closed.
A mall in downtown San Francisco was temporarily put on lockdown Sunday evening following a massive brawl that left a police officer injured and several people detained.
Videos posted on social media showed a chaotic scene with arriving officers struggling to subdue several individuals.
San Francisco police said they began to receive reports of a fight at the mall at about 6:43pm local time. Dozens of officers swarmed the shopping mall in the Union Square area of the city and were seen in witness videos taking multiple suspects into custody.
CIA knew in August that Putin sought to boost Trump
The Post said that as soon as the intelligence on Putin came in, the White House viewed it as a deep national security threat. Other onlookers point to then-ongoing and extremely delicate negotiations with Russian Federation over a ceasefire in Syria.
The brawl started between about two dozen people in the food court and grew from there, police said.
Officer Robert Rueca told KRON4 that as cops attempted to detain brawlers and restore order, some bystanders physically assaulted them and hurled objects at them.
The fight didn't spread onto the streets, but officers were forced to close the mall early.
There was no indication what caused the brawl or exactly how many people were involved. My goal in life is to one day write a Batman screenplay.
